Health & Infection Control

Your health and safety are an important part of your dental care. Our office follows established infection-control protocols for sterilization, disinfection, personal protective equipment, and prevention of cross-contamination between patients.

Air Quality & Ventilation

Our office has HEPA air filtration units throughout the practice, and select treatment rooms are equipped with negative-airflow ventilation. These systems were installed during the COVID-19 pandemic and remain part of our clinical environment today.

While no environment can eliminate all risk of respiratory illness, we believe thoughtful attention to air quality and infection prevention is an important part of caring for our patients and our team.

If You Are Ill or Have Special Health Concerns

If you develop a fever, significant respiratory symptoms, or another contagious illness before your appointment, please call our office. We can determine together whether your visit should proceed or be rescheduled.

If you have concerns about respiratory illness exposure, are immunocompromised, are undergoing medical treatment, or have another health consideration that may affect your visit, please contact us in advance. Whenever possible, our team will work with you to facilitate your care.

If you have an urgent dental problem while you are ill, please contact us rather than delaying care so we can help determine the appropriate next step.
