Meet Dr. Roxanna Esguerra

Prosthodontist in Duluth, MN

Dr. Esguerra is a board-certified prosthodontist with a passion for patient care. Born and raised in Colorado, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2008. She went on to the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, where she received her Specialty Degree in Prosthodontics in 2011 and a Master’s of Science from the UTHSCSA Biomedical School.

Dr. Esguerra has gained knowledge and clinical experience throughout her dynamic career history teaching and working in the United States and abroad. Having been published in top-tier Dental journals she has also been the guest speaker at numerous events. Dr. Esguerra is a member of numerous professional organizations and is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Esguerra was born and raised in Colorado. She has also lived in San Antonio, Singapore, Boulder, Denver, and Dallas. She and her husband Ronaldo, and two children Kai (age 11), and Luca (age 6), chose to settle down in Duluth because it offers a great urban setting with easy access to outdoor activities and a fantastic place to raise a family. This winter, Kai participates in Team Duluth Alpine skiing, Ronaldo is enjoying fat biking, and the whole family has fallen in love with the lake.
